Hello everyone,
We are Fiifi and Sybil Pentsil and we serve as the lead pastor and senior leader at House of Worship!

We have served the Maryland community for over 25 years as pastors and community leaders. Fiifi is a pastor, author, and international speaker. Sybil is a pediatrician, author, and a leader in medical education & diversity, equity, inclusion and justice strategies. Our community work centers on the body, soul, and spirit, using various structures to empower people to reach their best potential and serve their community.

We are blessed with three sons and a daughter all of whom serve the community just like we do! We have been leaders at House of Worship for 17 years. Church ministry is an incredible opportunity to be a blessing to people. Check out the next page for more information about House of Worship and how we serve our community.

House of Worship (HOW) is a church with a vision to love God and be relevant to society. In the past 17 years numerous people have been trained to be strong in their faith and channel that strength into making an impact on the world.

We are renovating a building!!!!

We affectionately call it His House. The vision is to have a place from which we can show the love of God to our community through service, prayer and action. We have done some of the work but we need at least $600,000 to be able to move in. Will you help us build?

Here’s what you can do as a fundraiser:

  1. Join a fundraising circle and commit to raising $11,000, $7,500, $5,000, or $2,500 for building renovations by November 30th 2022

  2. Tell us about your commitment here

“But I don’t know how to fundraise?”

Here are some tips

  1. Reach out to your friends, family and colleagues.

  2. Tell them about Rev. Fiifi, Dr. Sybil, House of Worship, and the building being renovated so the community can be served more effectively.

  3. Tell them about your personal fundraising target and encourage them to make a donation.

  4. Ask how much of a donation they can make and when they can make it by.

  5. Share the donation options. Tell them to write your name and ‘Capital Campaign’ in the notes/cc section so your totals can be tallied. (Our administrator will send fundraisers monthly totals)

  6. Tell them to expect a tax receipt in January 2023.

Our community needs more resources for education, health, financial freedom, justice, inclusion and more. We are primed and ready to make a difference. When you join a team/circle as a fundraiser, or when you make a donation towards our capital campaign, you become part of the force that propels us to fly!
